Hi! My name is Evan, and I’m a Student Financial Advisor at hi finance. I joined the team because I genuinely enjoy connecting with students and helping them understand what financial opportunities are available to them.

I’ve personally benefited from student loans, grants, and scholarships while completing my International Business and Economics degree at MacEwan University, so I understand firsthand how impactful the right funding—and the right guidance—can be. Because of that experience, I’m well-equipped to help students navigate the process of receiving, managing, and making the most of their money.

I believe the best time to build strong financial habits is during your student years. My goal is to educate, explain, and empower—helping students build financial confidence and capacity that will serve them long after graduation.

What drives me most is knowing I’ve made a genuine connection with a client and that they leave feeling clearer, more confident, and less stressed. I aim to be fun and welcoming, thorough, patient, and always improving at making complex financial topics easy to understand. I want every student I work with to feel like they have a reliable teammate in their corner.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning about different countries and cultures, economics, languages, and personal finance best practices. I also love long walks and traveling whenever I get the chance.
